Non-knittingness.

I live in an area with a constantly changing environment. Living right by the largest university in America means lots of different people all around. It also means the the end of the school year is essentially a giant garage sale. There is furniture everywhere. Yesterday afternoon, I looked out my window and saw a large pile of stuff near the dumpster at the building next door.

I found treats!

This is an adorable little table/cabinet/trunk-on-legs thing. It cleaned up so well and the amount of storage inside is amazing!

All my current WIPs are in it. Much better than them being heaped in corners or shoved behind a chair or under the couch...

Here is the big find!! (Also the reason my arms are killing me today...)

A Turntable Console!! OMFG. I was so happy. I had a gorgeous, beautiful, wonderful one that I sold before I moved to Wilmington. It killed me to sell it. I loved it and it was so pretty. (I don't have a single photo of it.)

I have a fairly decent collection of vinyl and love to dig through bins at thrift stores and garage sales to find new goodies.

It took some time to clean up, but it works and I'm very happy with it. And you can't beat the price!
