I just let the dog out and got a great surprise... A privacy fence!
The neighbors to the left of my house are assholes. There's no other way to put it. A-S-S-H-O-L-E-S. I've been hoping that one day they would just randomly move out, but a privacy fence is great too. It may not block all the noise, but maybe now I can go into my backyard without their herd of evil dogs yelping at me non-stop. I was so happy that when I saw it I ran back into the garage and started leaping about like a freak.

Hi Postcard buddy! I can SO relate to the dog thing! Our backyard neighbor raises hunting dogs, which is an Ok thing to do, I guess, but in my opinion is better relegated to the country life, not in the middle of town in a cruddy little backyard. I was SO glad when he put up a privacy fence, which blocks the view of his grassless mudpit, and keeps his dogs from scaring the daylights out of me!
It's made such a difference in my yard! I feel like I can enjoy my huge backyard now. These neighbors are really awful too, they used to yell obscenities at me for no reason. I'm glad to have a wall of wood in between us.
